Book launch: “Thinking Through Theatre”

Right before the start of the SPRING festival, Utrecht University launches two books on (making) theatre as a particular form of thought: a thinking through doing.

Thinking Through Theatre and Performance (editors Maaike Bleeker, Joe Kelleher, Heike Roms, Adrian Kear) examines this type of making-thinking through topics as diverse as dramaturgy, acting, objects, representation or inclusivity.

Nomadic Theatre: Mobilizing Theory and Practice on the European stage by Liesbeth Groot Nibbelink explores how ambulatory theatre and performance installations mobilize thought.

This book launch includes brief presentations by Maaike Bleeker, Joe Kelleher, Adrian Kear, Liesbeth Groot Nibbelink, and other contributors, followed by festive drinks.
